In-house exhibition of Tojo furniture in cooperation with Orgatech

At a tennis tournament at Weissenhof, the contact was established: Lars Otto, Managing Director of the rental furniture provider Orgatech GmbH, and Gerald Schatz, Managing Director of the Schorndorf furniture manufacturer Tojo Möbel GmbH, engaged in a technical discussion and discovered the potential synergy between their companies.

Practical, flexible and visually appealing – rental furniture for events must meet certain criteria. They need to be functional and flexible, modular and adaptable. Folding and stacking systems facilitate setup and teardown as well as transportation. The furniture must be durable to withstand frequent short-term use. Particularly important for longer events is ergonomics and an attractive design that integrates harmoniously into the event concept. The furniture should be easy to clean, with washable surfaces. Durable materials, sustainable production, and robust construction reduce wear and tear. Additionally, if individual parts can be reordered and not every piece of furniture needs to be replaced each time, customers are perfectly accommodated. Such furniture has now been developed by Tojo Möbel GmbH for Orgatech.

To present these bridge and standing tables as well as the rest of the product portfolio, Tojo, in cooperation with Orgatech, held an in-house exhibition on March 11 and 12, 2025, focusing on innovation, design, and quality for invited guests. This took place at Tojo's company headquarters on Lortzingstr. in Schorndorf. Creative living ideas and sustainable solutions for modern furnishing were showcased – including event furniture.

The guests expected personalized, professional advice, culinary delights from the catering service of the Schorndorf butcher Wolz, and networking in a relaxed atmosphere. The grand prize of a large raffle was a high-quality design bed. On March 11, Rouven Kasper, the marketing director of the football club VfB Stuttgart, participated in a panel discussion where he answered questions. He shared how he moved from Bayern München to VfB in 2022 when the club was in a precarious financial situation. He made the club 'tangible' and internationalized it. In a Q&A session, it was revealed how to keep key players nowadays – apart from offering high salaries – or how Waldemar Anton's departure really unfolded.

A jersey from VfB Stuttgart, provided by the Donner & Reuschel Bank and represented by Jan Weyland, signed by all current players, was auctioned for 1010 euros. The proceeds will benefit the Kitaprojekt Hampelmann of the local sport club SG Schorndorf, which is certainly a reason for celebration. All in all, it was two successful trade fair days that introduced interested visitors to sustainable design furniture in general and practical event furniture in particular.
